Earn Your American Sailing Association 101 Certification!

Have you ever wanted to learn how to sail?  Check out this comprehensive 15-hour sailing course offered by our friends  at the Lake Fairview Marina in Orlando, FL.  Sailing lessons are taught over the course of two or three days on a Com-Pac 16 or Com-Pac 23 sailboat. The basics of sailing a small keel boat are covered in every sailing lesson, along with terminology, knot tying, docking, and boat safety.

Sailing Lessons with the American Sailing Association will not only help you become a more confident sailor, but you will also earn an official sailing certification from the American Sailing Association at this accredited school! Obtain your official ASA 101 certification and learn how to sail a small keel sailboat.

Do you want to learn the basics of sailing but aren’t quite ready to commit to formal sailing training? Not to worry! Signing up for a day sail with Sailing Orlando is a great way to get a taste of sailing. Join us for a 2-hour private day sail with an experienced sailor aboard our 25-foot MacGregor sailboat.

Learn some of the fundamentals of sailing while having a fun day on the water! Guests can participate as little or as much as they want, whether it’s to help trim the sails or to take the helm.
